We have made more of these, just plain tail caps, over the years,
than any other cap. The first production of this cap started April 15th,
1989.
The cap is made using a variety of various species of raccoon tails
sewn onto a coon heather acrylic fur cap.
The Gray tails are usually 7-10 inches, and
have been cheaper, due to the fact that they are left over's from the skins
which have been dyed a bluish gray before being made into Russian women's
coats. Some of them are a purplish blue. We have no control of the color
of the tails.
The brown tail caps are prettier,
natural colored tails, usually 10-12 inches. Right now they are more
available. Even though they cost a bit more, we highly recommend
them. However, if you order a gray cap and are not happy with it I'll exchange
it for a brown cap plus the difference.

Our Coonskin Tail caps are our greatest seller. We keep
them in stock and sell to many wholesale outlets.
We have made many Coon Face caps over the years.
The first production of this cap was July 7th, 1994.
However, our "Face" supply is drying up. So these will only be for
sale until we run out of what we have in stock.
